Food/Cocktail Servers: Enjoy the scenery of Lake Mead as you serve people from all over the world on our tours and special charters. You'll be working with an "Outrageously Great Crew!" Part-time positions available immediately for those with current health and alcohol awareness cards. Steward: A steward must be able to wear many hats aboard our three-decker Mississippi-style paddlewheeler: food server, snack bar clerk, on-board errand runner, and more. And the person who can handle all of this with a smile is just the person we're looking for! We'll depend on you to help get the job done, whether it's attending to passengers or assisting the manager in basic cruise tasks. This is a fun and challenging position with a front row seat to unbeatable views of Lake Mead. Position available immediately for those with current health and alcohol awareness cards. Ticketing/Reservations and Photo Clerk: We rely on our Ticketing staff to tell people all about the "Outrageously Great Times and Tours" that Lake Mead Cruises offers! If you love people, can smile over the phone, and are willing to learn our system, then come and join the fun! Ticketing clerks also attend to our landing refreshment center, selling beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages, so all applicants must be 21 or over and have or be willing to get work cards. Cash-handling experience and comfort with registers and computers is a big plus. Ticketing clerks also occasionally assist with taking our boarding photos, so it helps if you can say "Cheese!" and know how to press a shutter button. Deckhand: Aboard the boat and on the landing, we rely on our deck and barge hands to keep our paddlewheel boat and our landing safe, clean and friendly for our great passengers! Enjoy being out on the lake while you help bring in and tie up our boat, assist the captain, and direct passengers. We train while you work. Advancement opportunities. Appplicants must have (or be able to obtain) a health card. Reservations/Office Assistant: We're looking for a cheerful part-time assistant to lend a hand with our day to day administrative work (filing, copying, etc), phone reservations, and photo sales. If you're highly organized and motivated to provide top-notch customer service when called upon, you're exactly who we're looking for. Applicants should be comfortable with multi-line phone systems and computers and be willing to assist in a variety of departments.
